Chances of getting into UCI?

I know that my stats are mediocre but I was wondering how my chances are of getting accepted into UCI. Would this be a far reach school for me?

  • Principle’s Honor Roll: 10th, 11th, 12th grade
  • School’s honor roll program

I get that my SAT score is exceptionally poor so if I were to improve that score the next time I take it and get at least an 1100, would that boost my chances?

Also, what other UCs would I have a better or equal chance at getting into?

Intended major can impact your chances.

It looks like both your GPA and test scores are pretty well below their mid point, which make it a reach. UCR, UCM and UCSC are more likely candidates. Depending on major, SDSU or CSULB are also worth a look.
good luck.
