Freshman Year I got the 3rd highest grade in the state for the National Spanish Exam, got 1st place Sophomore and Junior year.

I can’t really think of anything else that’s going on my transcript off the top of my head.
Please let my know what my odds are! I think they’re pretty good, but I just want to be sure. Also does it help that I’m Latino/Hispanic?

Are you instate for California???

I am not

URM status is not considered by California public universities since they banned affirmative action.

You look like a competitive applicant academically. Your EC’s are good with 1 leadership position but nothing outstanding. Make sure you spend time on your UC essays and make them great. What is your intended major?

You stand a very good chance.

Good Luck.

I was hoping to get a Bio Medical Engineering Major and then apply to med school and thanks a lot!

OOS students get limited financial aid since the UCs are public universities whose priority is to fund state residents. You might get some money for your stats, but it generally pales in comparison to your $55K in tuition and fees.

I think you have a pretty good chance of getting into UCLA, based off your SAT scores and EC’s.

I think you are a pretty strong candidate but, is UCLA worth $55k per year to you?

With your stats, you could probably get scholarships at so Cal privates like USD.

High match (your UWGPA is rather low in my opinion)
