My personal statements were okay. One was about being Asian in my predominantly Latino community and the other was about teaching computers to the youth of my agricultural town. Pretty bland, but written alright.

If it matters, I passed all my AP tests with 4's and I have a sibling at a UC I applied to. Thanks! I'm pretty stressed because I feel like all the schools I applied to are reach-y for me.

It really depends on your major of choice for Cal Poly. Admission requirements vary greatly based on majors.

But to give you some insights, Cal Poly admission averages are here:

You also need to share your weighted GPA with us in order to chance.

But if I were to guess, I think you have a decent shot at Cal Poly. And since Cal Poly’s requirements are very similar to UCSB, UCD, UCI, if you get into Cal Poly, you also stand a very good chance to get into those UCs.

For CAL, UCLA, UCSD, it is a bit more challenging. But if you apply to majors that lack females (such as engineering, physics) you stand a better chance of getting in.

Didn’t get into LA or Berk, but got into all the other ones. woo
