Chances of getting into UCSD?

This my first time actually posting here. hehe. I'm currently an incoming senior and I want to know my chances of getting into a good UC, preferably UCSD, but I just want to know where I stand. (Reading all the other members had me a bit worried considering I'm not that great of a student.)

My SAT scores were pretty bad like 1700's but I'm planning on retaking them.
My SAT 2 Math 2 was 720 and Biology 700
My ACT was 27 with a 10 on the essay. (retaking again)

Actually, I just want to know where I can actually get into because my scores are not as high as I want them, so if you guys could help! Thanks!

You’re grades are solid, but you’re SATs are very weak for UCSD. You have a mix of ECs, but they’re failry weak/average as well, so you definitely need some better SATs to have a shot. I say get your scores up to 2000 (preferably 2050+) and you’ll have a great chance.

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1166769-sats-so-chance-me.html

Oh I know, I’m going to retake it and hopefully I get over 2000… Any recommendations of any UCs? and most definitely I will. (:

I think so long as your SAT improves you have a good chance at UCSD and great chances at any lower UCs (Davis, Irvine, SB, etc.) I’d say UCB and UCLA would still be reaches, however, unless you score in the 2100-2200s as they require some great ECs alongside the grades.

Thanks! Well if UCSD doesn’t work out, I’ll probably attend UCI instead.
