Chances of getting into UCSD?

<p>UCSD is really the only school I'm super interested in spending the next 4 years of my life. So naturally im pretty nervous about applying. </p>

<p>Here are my stats:
-5.0 weighted high school GPA
-4.3 (which is the max) UC/Cal State GPA
-AP Test Scores: 3 on AP Bio (soph year), 4 on AP Psych (Junior), 5s on AP Eng Lang --and AP US History (Junior)
-Received AP Scholar with Honors award for these test scores
-Currently enrolled in and planning on taking 5 more AP tests my senior year
-1940 combined Sat score (retaking in 2 weeks) [680 reading, 610 math, 650 writing]
-760 on Biology M SAT2 (soph year), 680 on Math level 2 SAT2 (junior year), 730 on U.S. History SAT2 (junior year)
-All A’s in every single class, every semester of high school. </p>

<p>Freshman Year:
-3 Honors [which was the most you could take (English, Geometry, Bio)
-Started dancing at a studio outside of school, 1 hr/week, 52 weeks/year (with recital at end of year)
-Participated in school science fair</p>

<p>Sophomore Year
-4 Honors (English, World History, Chem, Algebra 2)
-1 AP (Bio, test score of 3)
-Continued dancing 1 hr/week every week (with recital at end of year)
-Did Stage Crew for school musical (about 60 hours over the course of 8 weeks)
-Started volunteering at local library (about 3 hours/week for 7 weeks)
-Got award at year end Drama banquet for Drama with Honors (for maintaining high GPA while participating in drama activities)
-Got “Student of the Chapter” award from Alg 2 teacher for EVERY unit we did in class; Got “Student of the Year” award from Alg 2 teacher, alongside one classmate for having the highest overall grade out of about 130 kids in Alg 2</p>

<p>Junior Year:
-2 Honors (Physics and Pre Calc)
-3 APs (Psychology, US History, English Lang; test scores 4,5,5 respectively)
-Continued dancing 1 hr/week every week/year (with a recital at the end of the year)
-Continued volunteering at library
-Did stage crew for school musical again (60 hours)
-Got published in school newspaper once
-Got published in school yearbook once
-Member of National honor Society (25 service hours)
-Began volunteering at Discovery Science Center (respected science center, in the top 10 in the country) at the end of Junior year; very selective volunteer program
-Received AP Scholar with Honors Award for my AP test scores</p>

<p>Senior Year (finally!!):
-5 APs (Gov, Economics, English Lit, Calculus BC, Chemistry, planning on taking all AP tests)
-Continuing dancing 1 hr/week every week/year
-Continued volunteering at local library
-Planning on doing Stage Crew again for school musical in the spring
-Getting published TWICE in the first issue of the school newspaper
-Volunteering at Discovery Science Center (completed 60 hours over summer, currently have 80 hours done, planning on reaching 150 by graduation) for 4 hours/week every week
-Academic Commissioner for school’s Link Crew (leadership class that transition freshman from middle school into high school), duties are to organize tutoring and make sure freshman are transitioning well academically, in addition to my duties at Acad. Comm., I am also in charge of a group of 20 freshmen as their “big buddy”
-Working towards my bronze Presidential Service Award (awarded for 100 hours), currently have 80 hours done</p>

<p>What I am most concerned about is my SAT score and my extracurricular, are they good enough? Sorry this post was SO long, but thanks for sticking around to help!!</p>

<p>Also, I Forgot to add that i am still an active member of National Honor Society for my senior year which requires i do an additional 25 service hours</p>

<p>Oh and for sophomore year, i also participated again in my schools science fair</p>

<p>I would be surprised if you didn’t get in. UCSD likes kids with lots of volunteer hours, maybe one of school’s mission? My daughter did lots of volunteer hours by teaching autistic kids music lesson. They gave her Regents scholarship for that reason. She had less ECs then you.</p>
