I am a biology major at a community college wanting to transfer to UCSD. What are my chances of getting in if I transfer out of my community college with my gpa in the high 3.7’s low 3.8’s, and for extracurricular being involved in chemistry club, honors society, and maybe being a tutor at my school?
Here is a link for UC transfer GPA’s by major. For UCSD Biology, admit range was 3.40-3.81. Your chances look good.

Do you think taking all the recommended classes will increase my chances of getting in? For instance, say I only need to take up to calculus 2, but I go further and take calculus 3. Same for physics and what not.
If you have more of the required courses completed prior to transfer, the better your chances as long as you do well in these classes.
