I am a High School Junior, and going to be a senior this fall. After High School i would like to transfer to UF or UCF and i don't know how good my chances are.
My Unweighted GPA is:3.8 and Weighted i have a 4.5
I am in the top 15 in my school and its fairly competitive, one of the best in my area.
I have taken mostly honors. 3 AP, and 5 dual enrollment courses.
I have around 80 volunteer hours
I am in the National Technical Honor Society at my school.
I have been on my highschool Varsity team and for the last year i have been captain.
I recently took the SAT and ACT and i made a poor choice and went in unprepared but i am hoping to improve my scores.
My ACT was 24: 24 on each sections
and my SAT was a 1600, 510 math, 560 reading, and 520 writing.
and if being from El Salvador makes a difference, i would like to know what are my chances of getting in?

varsity what?

oh varsity soccer

Your ACT is just a little off of UF’s range (25-29) any chance you could retake? But you seem fine for UCF. So probably UF low reach or high match.

I’ll consider UF as a reach. I don’t think you’ll have a problem for Central Florida.

yeah, i need to retake it, i think im going to retake it in september, any tipson how to study and what can help me on the sat / act?
