Chances of Getting into UF?!

<p>Hello! </p>

<p>I really really would like to call UF my home and from what I've heard, they're very picky
I wanted to know if anyone could tell me if my stats show any possibility of getting in
Answers from current students at UF with similar stats would be great!</p>

<p>ACT: 28
SAT: 1730 (not my stronger of the two)
Recalculated UF GPA: 3.79
And I was involved in a BUNCH of extracurricular activities, clubs, and service projects, however, no one particular activity stood out to me, nor did i overly involve myself in one (I've heard they like that)
I also did varsity crew 9th-11th grade and cheerleading 9th grade</p>

<p>ah please be nice im so nervous! This whole finding out on valentine's day thing is such a sick joke -___-</p>

<p>Low reach. The SAT and ACT are a bit low, and the recalculated GPA is a bit low as well. Like you said, UF prefers dedication to less activities if they have more effort put in. Having a bunch of activities with little dedication is not that impressive, sorry. But, you do have a sport, so they like that, and cheerleading also sorta counts as a sport and EC. Since UF is holistic, it is quite unpredictable, so good luck!</p>
