chances of getting into UGA

<p>i really want to go to UGA in the fall of 2014. Heres my information:
Gpa: 3.4 weighted 3.1 unweighted (im a bring my gpa up to a 3.7 by the end of junior year)
Ethnicity: African american ( parents orginally from Ghana)
Gender: Female
Class rank:top 12% of my class
Ap classes:
Ap human geo (9th grade)
Ap world history (10th grade)
Ap us history (11th grade)
Ap language (11th grade)
Ap literature (will take in 12th grade)
Ap economics (will take 12th grade)
Ap biology (will take in 12th grade)
I havent taken the SATs or ACTs yet</p>

<p>ECs
Volleyball setter (9th grade)
Orchetra (9th -12th i also got a letter and pin)
cross country (10th and 12th grade, got a letter, won best first year runner award,4star scholar athlete,pin)
Beta club(11th-12th)
Mcsa(11th-12th)
French club(11th-12th)
Recycling club(11th-12th)
Tri-M (12th grade)
What are my chances of getting in</p>

<p>The average accepted student SAT this year was 1275 and the average GPA was 3.89 (this is not the GPA you see on your transcript, but the GPA that UGA calculates based on the core courses taken in HS, and looking at the actual grades on the transcript). You’d bring potential diversity, and that’s a plus. But if your GPA after two years is a 3.4, it would take a 4.3 in your third year to reach 3.7. The ECs won’t make much impact at a public university the size of UGA.</p>

<p>Okay thanks for replying back :slight_smile: do u think if i get a high SAT score and take leadership positions in those EC i good still have a chance of getting accepted?</p>
