Reasons behind applying to each school:

UMCP: They have a really competitive program which I like very much. A wide variety of computer science degree offerings and offers a really exciting (well, just my opinion) work study program. The facilities to me are also pretty nice. Con? The most expensive school in the state.

Frostburg: This was suggested by a relative and I saw how much cheaper it is than UMCP with a lot of offerings as to the Computer Science field/degree. Not too shabby. I also heard from a few family friends that their stay there was pleasant. Con? This is probably the farthest to home. Not much recreational places to go. But I came to this country to study, not really play that much; so no biggie. (being far away from family isn't really a problem for me though. I listed that as a con since EVERYTHING must have a PRO and CON right? No such thing as a perfect school, no sir.)

Towson: This I chose due to its location which is nearest to home. Its also pretty close to city life (which I'm quite used to, being brought up mostly as a city girl, however, there is a tranquility to country life which is also quite pleasant).Con? Also pretty expensive in my opinion.

So what ARE my chances for UMCP and Towson? I hope I was able to paint a pretty good image of where I am now. I'm pretty interested about my chances at UMCP. I understand that credits from abroad don't transfer well in other countries, which is why I had my credits evaluated by WES and 2.98 was their evaluation. I listed my acceptance to Frostburg as a comparison to any other Intl Student researching (like I was before) and maybe help them create a similar scenario for themselves. Among the 3 schools, Frostburg was the only university which I did not submit an Essay to. Like it matters? Well who knows.

Sorry for the long wall of text.
