Chances of getting into UNC Chapel Hill (OOS)

<p>Hi guys UNC is my dream school so i was wondering if anyone could chance me and maybe give some recommendations. Im applying early action and I'm from florida. Im also hispanic although I'm not sure that will help.</p>

<p>SAT-1440/2080</p>

<p>GPA-3.9 unweighted
Senior year course load: All AP- Government, Economics, Calc AB, Physics 2, Environmental Science, and Literature</p>

<p>Ranked8/457</p>

<p>Extracurriculars-
-Ive worked five hours a week at my job that I've had for the past 2 years.
-I play tennis 15 hours a week and probably 48-50 weeks every year (I've been to states twice and reached the finals once)
-Interned directly under the CEO of a large company (Liberty Medical)
-Officer in Key Club and member of a few others like NHS
-LOTS of environmental work…helped sink a tugboat for an artificial reef.
-Lots of small stuff that i won't go into on here hahaha</p>

<p>Have good rec letters (one from the assistant superintendent of my county who i know very well)
My common app essay is awesome and my supplemental essay is good</p>

<p>It remains a big reach, as it is for all but the most highly-qualified candidates from outside of NC, but you might have an outside chance. My son had a lower unweighted GPA and similar test scores when he applied there as his first-choice super-reach. He did not get in. It won’t hurt to apply, as long as you know it’s a long-shot.</p>
