Chances of getting into UNC?

Hey guys,
I'm currently a junior in High School in South Carolina and kind of stressing over getting into my dream school, North Carolina.

Possible major: Physics, maybe?

White Male

UW GPA: 3.6~7
W GPA: 4.2~3

I haven't taken SAT yet but I've scored pretty well on PSAT and expect to make around 2200 SAT, if not better.

Son of UNC alum

Essays shouldn't be a problem, I've been told I'm a very good writer.

I'm between top 5 and 10% of my decent public HS class of 450-500.

Taking IB English and History of Americas, Honors classes in all else. Taken spanish through year 4.

EC's: (I need to work on this, I think)
Job during school year from 10th grade on,
Golf Team 9th and 10th grade
NHS
Model UN
Co-founder and vice president of school video gaming club.

Also, I'd be applying with Early Action.

So what are my chances? If my chances aren't looking great for UNC, what about Emory, Georgia Tech, UVA, or University of Richmond?

Thanks

Come on, anyone?

If you do well on your SAT you should get in. do you live in NC?

No, I'm a South Carolina resident, unfortunately.

Bump. Anyone else?

You're borderline with your current stats, although with a 2200 SAT, you should have no problem at all.

Personally, I think you will get in with a SAT overall of 2000 or higher. Below that, you might be questionable, although the legacy helps.

And, yes, the fairly limited ECs are the weakest part of your application currently.

Ok, sounds good to me. I'm reassured a little, at least. Thanks calcruzer.

They also Take a more favoritisim usualy for those born in north carolina. My high school has appx 30% of all college goers get accepted into unc. or somthing.
