Chances of getting into Universities

Bump!
I have made my decision and I have applied to…
Stanford University
UIUC
MIT
Michigan State University

I will be applying to…
Purdue University
University of Kansas

So, is my approach more pragmatic now?
Oh, and I have received certificates of distinctive performance on NSO and NCO, if that counts.

Bump 10char!

yes more pragmatic, but not enough. You need more second and third tier schools.

Thank you for your responses, guys. Here’s my result:

University of Kansas (KU) - Admitted into the honors program with the 4-year renewable IIE (Institute of International Education) full-tuition scholarship.

Michigan State University - Accepted with an International Student Employment Assistance Award.

UIUC - Denied.

Purdue University - Accepted.

MIT - Denied.

Stanford University - Denied.

I have decided to attend KU due to financial reasons. Plus, I’ve heard that Lawrence is a great college town. I also believe that the university’s honors program will provide me with wonderful academic and extracurricular opportunities. Thus, I’m now a prospective Jayhawk! :D
