What are my chances and how do I improve them?

My GPA is 93.4 in 100 scale

Ill convert to 4.0 scale

OK it’s a 3.8. With that said pretty good shot of getting in

Thanks but are you sure 93.4 is a 3.8? and is there anything more I should do?

i think it is a 4.0… it depends on the breakdown of your classes… your sat is too low.

what is the suggested sat score?

2200+ at least… hopefully 2250… then i think you would be set

oh and how much will my AP test scores count towards my acceptance chance?

A 4 won’t kill your chances, but obviously aim for 5’s

What if you do ABSOLUTELY horrible like a 2 or even a 1? Will the colleges look dramatically down upon that?

My school also uses a 100 point scale and the average person accepted into UPENN has an unweighted GPA of around 96.9 (with AP classes, this number is according to our scattergram.) That being said, your school may be different from mine (a non-selective public school in the suburbs.)

Your SAT is also a bit low, but your AP and SATII scores may help make up for that, assuming that they’re all 5s and 750+.

UPENN is definitely a reach school for you, but it is for almost anyone.

Hmmm that sounds firm and a bit more promising but I still want to know if getting a 2 or a 1 on the AP test will be harshly considered in college admissions

So any news on the AP test question? Will the college admission look terribly down on a 1 or 2 on the AP test?

What if I just don’t submit my AP test score for it being so terrible?
