Get your ACT score up. With your current stats I think you’ll have no trouble getting in to all of them except USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Claremont McKenna.

USC: Reach
UCLA: High match
Cal Poly SLO: Low match/Match
UCSD: Match
UCSB: Low match
USD: Low match
UCD: Low match/Match
USF: Safety
Occidental: High match
LMU: Safety
Claremont McKenna: Reach
Berkeley: High match
UCSC: Low match

Your stats look good and I Agree with the last two posts…some schools like UCB and UCLA are reach schools that you have to work really hard for. You’ve already matched with some schools and could easily get into them (as Catria stated) and as long as you keep working hard , I’m sure you could get into those tougher schools. I recommend taking more AP classes (if you aren’t already) and just staying involved with your extracurricular activities and gaining as many more community service hours as you can. Trying to improve your ACT scores would also help a lot. But just remember, it’s not only grades and test scores that admissions officers look at…it’s also the rigor of the classes you’ve taken and things like the personal statement. The personal statement is a big part of the application so you need to make sure you write a good one that really gives them a good sense of who you are. But if you write a good personal statement and continue with the hard work and keeping your grades up, I’m sure you can get into those higher end schools :)

I think you will get into all of the schools for sure except USC, UCLA, and UCB will be difficult.
USC- reach BUT if you can bring you ACT score up, I would say its match
UCLA and UCB - high match.

USC: low reach
UCLA: low reach
Cal Poly SLO: match (high match for engineering)
UCSB: match
UCSD: high match
USD: low match
UC Davis: match
USF: low match
Occidental: match
LMU: low match
Claremont McKenna: reach
UC Berkeley: reach
UCSC: low match
