<p>Hi, so I am freaking out like most people about my chances of getting into UT. It has been my dream school for about 5 years now and my brother goes there so if I don't get in I will look like a failure to my parents. Seriously.</p>
<p>So I go to a VERY competitive high school, so competitive that my GPA at my school would qualify me for the top 10% at a high school IN my district! But, I live in this zone, so I have to deal with it.</p>

unweighted on 4.0: 3.61
weighted on 4.0: 4.02
Rank: 183 out of 829 (top 22%)
(my GPA and rank should go up after this semester since I have about a 5.2 right now for this semester)
My ACT and SAT scores suck though, but I just took the ACT and I think I did pretty good on it, maybe a 27 but my last ACT was a 24 and my last SAT was 1630
After my senior year I will have completed 7 AP classes
I have done probably about 150 hours of community service, volunteering monthly
I dance out of school
I am apart of Student Council Executive Board
I am in 5 national honor societies (NHS, SNHS, NAHS, NTHS, and Quill and Scroll)
I have been in DECA for two years
I have done Interact, PALS, and FFA for one year
I have been in journalism for 4 years and I am a yearbook editor</p>
<p>Needless to say I am well involved with my school however I only have one officer-ish position and don't really have any awards, but I do think my college essays are pretty good and very unique.</p>
<p>So, please please please tell me your input on my chances!!! I do NOT want to do the CAP program, I just don't think I could take it, I would be WAY to upset. Thanks!</p>
