I posted a thread earlier, hopefully someone replies this time lol

Hispanic

91 weighted GPA

120 of 552 students

Top 20%

National Honor Society, NSHSS, NSHSS Ambassador, AP Scholar, Law Review, CYLC Alumni

Lots of community service at Church, other places.

AP EXAMS

human geography- 3
world history- 3
art history- 4

Took US History, European History, AP English Lanugage and AP Spanish Language this year which I'm pretty confident I passed all. Will have taken 10 AP Exams by graduation.

What are my chances? How can I improve in a year when I graduate?

What’s your SAT? It’s really impossible to tell without that.

I’m actually taking that June 2. But my PSAT I got around a 1700

If you can get your SAT to around 2000, then you have a good chance. Also, be sure to show that you’ve spent a lot of time and are passionate about your extracurricular activities. Maybe do something interesting this summer.

Thanks for the info. I definitely want to take the SAT twice, so the June 2 one I can get an idea of what I need to improve on and then take the first SAT in the fall.

As for something interesting, any suggestions?

With a rank around 20%, it will be difficult. There just aren’t many sports for kids outside of the guaranteed admissions process.

Get the SAT above 2000 and you’ll definitely have a shot, but not a guarantee.
