Chances of getting into UT Mechanical/Chemical engineering

Hi, I’m currently wondering about my chances of getting into engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I’m an White/Asian male that lives in Texas.

My Stats:

My class does not rank, but I know I’m between top 20% and 8% (probably around to 12% based on what my counselor has told me).
GPA: 4.09 W
3.757 UW

Courses:
Freshman year we weren’t allowed to take accelerated classes.
10th grade: AC Pre Calculus, AP US History, AC Chemistry
11th grade: AP Calculus BC, AP Physics 1, AP Government, AP Microeconomics, AP Statistics
12th grade: AC Multivariable Calculus(calc 3), AP Physics C, AP World History, AP English 4

Test Scores:
ACT: 32 (36S, 34M, 31W, 28R)
Sat(old): 2090/1420 (730M, 690W, 680R)

I would like to know if I have any chance and how high that chance is. I haven’t heard anything yet and I’m worried about not getting in.

I think you definitely have a good shot and should remain hopeful but you’re in the range of uncertainty. To be honest I would probably lean more to a rejection since your test scores are overall quite average for Cockrell but your rank is lower. If you have killer ECs, leadership, work experience, etc. perhaps those might give you a better shot. My advice is to stay hopeful but prepare for any result.
