<p>So I'm currently stressing over whether I'll be able to be admitted into UT in the fall 2013. I know that the automatic admission for that year is at 8% but I'm currently in the 9.1% of my class of 306.</p>
<p>My GPA is a 3.72
SAT scores were:
520 Critical reading
630 Math
600 writing
1750 total, 9 on the essay.
I have only taken the SAT once, and I know its not a very high score, so I'm not sure whether I should take it again or shoot at the ACT.</p>
<p>I haven't taken the ACT but I plan on taking it in hopes of getting a decent score. At the moment I'm seeing UT as a long shot because I'm not sure my test scores can pull me in although my rank is relatively high. I have been in every AP class that my school has offered so far, which isn't many because it is a fairly new school (3 so far, 3 this senior year). I took courses at a community college over this summer and already have a total of 6 credit hours. It isn't a whole lot but I hope it helps.</p>
<p>As a side note, I have over 600 hours of community service because of a volunteer group I've been in throughout my high school career. I am also in the National Honor Society. I also have 3 years of Spanish but I'm not sure if that changes much. Please give some feedback on what you guys think my chances are and toss me some tips on increasing my chances.</p>
