Chances of getting into UVA

I'm a homeschooled high schol senior from Northern Virginia. I was recently rejected from West Point because of my bad eyesight. I now want to get into UVA. I have a 3.91 GPA (Completely unweighted). I have taken 6 community college courses at NVCC (24 credits, and 4 A's and 2 B's). I am doing AP microeconomics, AP macroeconomics, and AP U.S. government online. I have a 660 CR 690 M and a 660 W on the SAT.

I also have many extracurriculars. I have run track and cross country for two years. I am an Eagle scout and was jamboree troop senior patrol leader. I have played piano for many years and have plenty of awards. I am a member of the Eta Sigma Alpha national homeschool honor society. I am a yearbook staff member for our homeschool co-op. I was also in fifth place in the national geography bee at the end of 8th grade. I was selected in the first round for national merit scholarship. (91 on the PSAT). I have also done speech and debate for three years and qualified to regionals. I am also half hispanic and have a Spanish name.

I really want to go into SEAS and major in biomedical engineering. How much of a chance do I stand?

I don’t know too much about homeschooling, but I’m guessing your application will probably get a different approach than that of public/private school student.

Since you’re instate for UVA, admissions will be only a bit easier. I’d retake the SAT one more time and try to break 700+ per section. Don’t mention the geography bee; middle school stuff isn’t a big sell.
