Chances of getting into UVA

So I haven't always put my best effort into school, but I would still like to know what my chances for getting into UVA are.

Gender: male
Race: Caucasian
State: Virginia
GPA (weighted/unweighted) 3.85/3.65
SAT: math-720 reading-710 writing-690

Extracurriculars:
Track-varsity
Robotics

Awards: varsity letter, academic letter

Ap - score:
comp sci-5
World history-3
US history - 4
English 11 - 5

i do have an older brother currently at UVA, I don't know if this helps at all though.
I plan on majoring in computer science.

As you can see I haven't really put much effort into school. This is because I have spent these past four years more focused on writing several apps for the Android marketplace. I was wondering; could I put down on my application that I have written android apps? Maybe I could email a CS professor there about my apps, or get my brother to show them?

Anyways, how do I stand in the eyes of the UVA admission office?

My guess, UVA in state = match.

Bump bump bump

Great chances in my opinion, i’d say is a match, also you should mention that you’ve worked developing apps, that’s fantastic and really shows your passion for computer science. Good luck.
Chance me back if you can:

Writing Android apps would be best on an app for a computer science/engineering major.

That said, I’d say match.

Is it a match simply because of my android apps? Because lately I have been having fears that the admission officers might be iPhone users, meaning that if they try to look up my apps they won’t be able to find them and think that I’m lying. Maybe I should make them cross platform…

Android apps have little to do with the match rating, actually.

My sister applied to UVa from out of state with a similar GPA but worse standardized testing. We are 90% certain it was because she met with a music professor who was able to draw her in-- perhaps contact a Comp Sci professor, see if you could talk to him about what you’ve done in computer science.

Yeah I’m pretty confident that you’d get accepted- good luck!

Instate so you’re a match

writing for android ! great… i think this can balance your defficiencies in studies.
