I'm a junior in high school with a 3.9 unweighted GPA.
I live in Virginia, so UVA isn't an out of state university for me.
I haven't taken the hardest classes throughout high school, but I'm currently taking 3 AP classes and will take 3 more my senior year of high school.
I am an active member of my graduating class' club, Key Club, Operation Smile Club, the SCA, Forensics, NHS, and I play lacrosse for my school. However, I do not hold any leadership positions in any of these extracurriculars.
If I continue on this path, do you think I will get accepted into UVA?

weighted GPA? any awards/recognition? Test score???

My weighted gpa is 3.99, I have gotten honor roll for 2 years so far. I haven’t gotten my PSAT results back for 11th grade, but my 10th grade year my IS was 170.

PSAT=/= SAT.
Come back with real SAT/aCT…

Without an ACT or SAT, it’s basically impossible to chance you.

However, you’re on the right path. If you can get leadership positions in a couple of those ECs, you’ll be even stronger.

Question: What part of VA do you live in? Rumor has always had it that it’s easier for SW-SE VA residents to get in rather than NoVA residents. There are horror stories of people with 4.0 UWs and 30 ACTs getting rejected (from NoVA) while I know people in SW VA that got in with lower than 1800 SATs and probably beneath 4.0 UW.
