Chances of getting into UVA?

<p>Right now I am a senior in high school and I'd really like to go to UVA, but being out-of-state, I don't know what my chances are. Here are my stats:</p>

11 years of Girl Scouts, 2 year member of National Honor Society, weekly volunteer at local nursing home for 4 years with Jewish residents, volunteer at Cub Scout Day Camp for 2 summers, employed at local preschool for 2.5 years, lots of travel experience (domestic and foreign)</p>

<p>Do you think I could get in?</p>

<p>I'm also applying to University of Maryland-College Park and University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. What do you think my chances of getting in there are?</p>

<p>your only weakness seems to be the GPA but i think it almost for sure you'll get in...you have a great list of EC's and electives</p>

<p>If you were in-state, you'd pretty much be guaranteed; as it is, you've got a fair shot.</p>

<p>Where do you rank in your class? That is usually pretty important for UVA OOS. Also your SATs are below average for OOS. Most are 1400+</p>

<p>My school doesn't calculate class rank. I got to a competitive high school, so I should be in the 20% or so. Also, I want to add that my family and I started running Jewish services at the nursing home. We do it every Friday night and also run celebrations for other Jewish holidays.</p>
