My junior year of high school has just ended, and my GPA is somewhere around a 3.3 (haven’t gotten official report card yet). I had all A’s and one B+, but one D in Algebra II which brought my GPA down dramatically. I have no honors or AP classes, although I’m taking honors English next year. I just took the SAT and imagine I got around 1100 - 1200 (out of 1600). I have pretty much no extracurricular activities besides hobbies such as digital and traditional arts (which I’ve been pursuing since middle school), and some literacy tutoring. No clubs or sports or anything. If it makes any difference, I’m female and half Vietnamese, half white. I live in Seattle, so UW Bothell is very nearby. I never put much thought into college and applications until this year, as I was pretty depressed throughout most of high school, and now I’m starting to worry a little. If someone could tell me what my chances of getting into UW Bothell are, that would be great.
I think you have a very good chance
Race wise it doesn’t matter. The state of Washington abolished affirmative action. I think they do take into consideration being Native American because I was contacted about possible scholarships and benefits.
