Chances of getting into UW-Madison.. help!

<p>How is my outlook so far? I wasn't really quite sure what to put on here... So i just put some facts down that might help with admissions/scholarships.
I'm really hoping to get into UW-Madison & also get the Chancellor's Scholarship</p>

<p>-Going into senior year</p>

<p>-From WI</p>

<p>-From a low income household</p>

<p>-Currently raised by a single parent (father passed away when I was 12)</p>

<p>-Asian (Vietnamese)</p>

<p>-Female</p>

<p>-Last time that I checked, my cumulative GPA was 3.9 unweighted, however, it may be dropping to about a 3.8 or so by the time summer is here (June 10) In the past, my GPA for each semester is usually about a 3.8-3.9.</p>

<p>-Will be graduating high school with over 23 credits (working on getting college credit right now)</p>

<p>-26 ACT, writing score of 10 out of 12 (retaking it on June 12)</p>

<p>-Public School in WI</p>

<p>-Class rank is no longer accounted for in my school, however, I believe I was about Top 10-15?</p>

<p>-By the time I am done with HS, i will have taken 4 AP classes</p>

<p>-Extracurricular (years I am involved):
NHS (Senior)
Student Council (Sophomore, Junior, Senior)
President of HOSA (Senior)
Cultures Club (Junior, Senior)
Wisconsin Math League (Junior, Senior)
Stage Crew (Freshman)
School Magazine Staff Writer (Sophomore)
School Magazine Editor In Chief (Junior, Senior)
Church Choir (Sophomore, Junior, Senior)
Youth Group Leader (Junior, Senior)</p>

<p>-Volunteer Work:
I've completed a lot of services activities for multiple clubs/organizations that I am in.
Have been involved with a youth group since Freshman year & volunteering its volunteering activities
Taking on a leadership role with youth group which meets every weekend(Junior, Senior)
Interning at Discovery World this summer.</p>

<p>-Awards/Recognition:
Not sure if this counts, but each year, I've received the academic excellence award at school for high honors.
I am a Hugh O'brian Youth Leadership Conference Alumnus</p>

<p>Not quite sure of what else to add, but if you need to know anything else, please let me know! </p>

<p>I was also wondering about my chances at Twin Cities, and Marquette</p>

<p>Also wondering if there are any other scholarships I should look at? Thank you very much!</p>

<p>I think your stats look great and you should be accepted at UW Madison. In fact I’d say you are just the kind of student they look for :). </p>

<p>Check the UW Madison admissions website with the sliding admissions table to see where you fit.</p>

<p>You should be in. ACT’s a little low though.</p>

<p>Out of curiosity, do any of you attend UW-Madison?</p>

<p>Update:
-I got a 26 again on my ACTs… so i guess i’m stuck with that. However, my writing score for the ACTs was a 10 (1-12 scale)</p>

<p>-I’m interning at Discovery World this summer</p>

<p>-My cumulative as of now is a 3.86</p>

<p>My interpretation of the chart is that your GPA gives you an 85% chance of acceptance.</p>
