So, I really want to go to UW Madison (college of engineering). I have applied and am awaiting the decision. I have an act score of 30, class rank of 18 out of 99 weighted (24 of 99 unweighted). My unweighted GPA is 3.618, and I know for some reason they don’t look at weighted GPA (mine is 5.225). I have submitted 2 letters of recommendation, one from an engineering teacher and one from my math teacher. I have taken 2 AP classes last year (AP Psychology and AP Java Programming), and 1 this year (AP Calculus AB). The essays I wrote were good, but probably not great. What do you think are my chances of getting in?
??? I assume this would be a safety for you already unless the college of engineering is compared to UIUC school of engineering.
You should have a good chance to get in. ACT is slightly above average, GPA is around average.
Probably depends on essays and letters of rec
