Hello

Currently I'm a high school junior. I've been taking quite a few advanced classes and plan to take 4 AP's next year.

My GPA is about 3.85 (ranked in top 10% of class)
My ACT score is 30 (I might retake it in April)

Extracurriculars: I don't have very many. However, I'm quite active in FBLA.
I also plan to get a job this summer.

What are my chances in getting into the following UW schools? (I plan to major in Accounting)

UW-Eau Claire
UW-Green Bay
UW-Oshkosh
UW-Whitewater

Thanks

I think you will likely get into all of these schools, maybe even UW-Milwaukee.

Thanks for the reply. Do the UW schools (aside from UW-Madison) place much emphasis on ECs?

usually state schools which are not the flagship look at those things but they don’t make them a large part of the decision. Remember that state schools sort of have an obligation to enroll a significant fraction of in-state residents. That is the deal they make for the taxpayer funding.

Why don’t you apply to Madison?

Well, I haven’t taken the writing portion of the ACT and I feel that I don’t have enough EC’s.

You should work on both of those an apply to Madison
