I have made all A's on my transcript. I am ranked number 12 out of 370 in my class with an unweighted GPA of 4.0 and a weighted GPA of 4.45.
This year I am taking 6 AP classes, last year I took 3, and my sophomore year I took 1 (world history). These are pretty much the maximum amount I could possibly take.
I am extremely involved in the community- founded my own community service club and have raised over $4,000 for various charities, I am the captain of a sports team, I am in NHS and tutor children, I have played an instrument since I was little, as well as participate in other clubs at my school.
I have visited the campus 3 times, set up an (optional) alumni interview which went extremely well, have been in contact with my local representative, and I am a legacy (3 relatives who graduated).
My only issue are my SAT scores which are 1870. I have never been a strong test-taker.

My grades/class rigor are as strong as possible and I have very fierce extracurriculars. But with these SAT scores, what are my chances of getting in early decision? (I applied to Peabody)

Your GPA is amazing, and your course selection is obviously rigorous. Added to the fact that you have stellar ECs and assuming that you have great essays and recommendations, I think you’ll be really competitive for Vanderbilt! But also, I also agree with Catria in that Bowdoin and Bates would be a great fits for you (considering they’re test optional colleges and you like liberal arts schools). I would advise looking into them if you haven’t yet; they are in Maine, though, so the weather’s a bit colder than in Nashville Good luck!!!
