I am a high school sophomore. I am interested in going to Virginia Tech and becoming an elementary school teacher. I have a 3.91 gpa from freshman year, but it will go up as I go along in high school. I volunteer at a farmers market, I have started an environmental club, have sung with a barbershop chorus for 2 years. I also go to fairfax county public schools. I am in precalculus right now (i took algebra 1 in 7th grade) and I am in my first AP class this year. To get into the Virginia Tech education program do you have to do something that pertains to working with children? other than that would i get in?

you’ll get in, assuming you dont screw up the SAT
