Hey everybody, I'm a first time poster so hopefully this is the right way to ask this question.

I'm a rising senior in high school, and I want to get into Virginia Tech. I attend Providence High School in Charlotte, NC, which is usually ranked among the best high schools in the nation. I am carrying a 3.425 weighted GPA, have a 28 on the ACT (no writing), and a 1970 on the SAT. I have taken mostly honors courses, as well as three AP courses (which I got C's in). I have taken four honors science courses to date, and have done very well in all of them. I am very active in my school's NJROTC unit, and will serve as the unit XO (2nd in command) this year. I have a ton of awards, ribbons, etc. in NJROTC but I'm not going to bore you all with that : ) In late July, I will be one of only about 200 NJROTC cadets attending a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math seminar being held by the Navy at the University of San Diego. I am the oldest of six brothers, and I am very active in my church.
I plan to pay for VT with an Army ROTC scholarship, and plan to be a member of the VT Corps of Cadets. I would like to major in contruction engineering, biochemistry, or psychology.

I know my grades are a bit low, but realistically, what are my chances of getting into VT? I plan to apply for Early Decision, will that help?

Sorry, I know that's a ton of information to digest. Thanks for any help anybody can give me!
