I'm most likely applying ED to WUSTL and I'm wondering what my chances would be of actually getting in. (This is definitely a reach school for me, so feel free to be brutally honest.)

My GPA is a 5.54 on a scale where all As in all regular classes is a 5.0 and all As in all honors or AP classes is a 6.0
freshman year I took 3 honors classes (english, math, spanish) and received 2 Bs first semester, one in English and one in Math. I got straight As second semester as well as all through sophomore year but I still took only 3 honors courses because I didn't want to push myself.

Junior year I took AP Lang and US History (5s on both tests) as well as 3 other honors classes (precalc, spanish, and Earth Science) and got all As except for a B one semester in precalc. I'm currently taking AP Biology, Calc AB, Computer Science, and Spanish Lang. I think my transcript shows an upward trend but the few Bs and regular classes are making me nervous.

ACT: Since Wash U superscores, my highest scores in each section are
English 35, Math 35, Reading 36, and Science 36, and the composite supescore would be a 35.5 or 36 depending on if they round. My highest composite without superscoring is a 35. My writing score is an 8, but I heard at an info session that they don't really consider it.

SAT Subject tests: Math 750, Spanish 730

Extracurriculars: (this is probably where I'm most lacking)
- I work at a part time job as a janitor at a vet's office about 6-8 hours a week (since junior year)
- Tutoring elementary school children through a club at my school (for the past 3 years/90 hours)
- Generic volunteering club through school that helps out in the community (2 years)
- Volunteering at a theraputic horseback riding center (10th grade/about 50 hours?)
- Volunteering and confirmation class/youth group at my church (9-10th grade, about 40-50 hours)
- I don't play a school sport but I'm very involved in horseback riding outside of school, I've been doing it all through high school and I help out at the barn as well as ride and compete. This is what I'm writing my essay about. (speaking of the essay, I'm not a particularly strong writer, but I'm trying to show my personality through it as much as possible without being too obnoxious ;) )

I've visited campus as well as attended information sessions at my school and near my house. I've also contacted an admissions officer before my visit by email.

My senior class is about 650-750, but my school doesn't rank. It's one of the top public schools in my state and very competitive.

I'm planning to major in some form of science (most likely biology) but I am afraid to write that on the application because I haven't taken physics and I heard that they like to see physics on the transcript of people going into science. Am I better off writing "undecided" as my major?

Thank you so much!
