NWU: Reach
Tufts: Reach
NEU: Reach (about as high as Wellesley ED)
Smith: High match
Wellesley ED: Reach (but lower than NWU or Tufts)
BC: Reach

Is Mt. Holyoke or Sarah Lawrence no good for you?

Hello Catria! Forgive me, but what does Reach mean? Thanks. Hahaha
Um. I took a look at Sarah Lawrence and i’ve never heard of Mr. Holyoke, but I really fell in love with Wellesley.

I agree with Catria, based on what I saw this year and what it took to get into Wellesley. All of the schools she said are reach schools with your scores, are. Our daughter had 650 CR, 700 Math, and 730 Critical Writing, along with incredibly high extracurriculars, etc and a 4.18 GPA in an all honors/AP load and she did not get into BC. She didn’t try NW, but I’m sure that would have been out.

SAT: 1900 (retaking in October and plan on scoring much higher)
ACT: 28
GPA (Cumulative unweighted) 3.3 I know its a bit low, but due to personal circumstances (severe anxiety and frequent panic attacks) I go to a well respected public high school.

Senior Year Classes: AP Bio,AP Stats, AP English, AP Computer Science, AP Macro and Micro Economics. I plan on getting all A’s and 1 B this semester. Also took AP US History (4) and AP Gov (3). I’ve taken mostly honors and AP classes in High school. Lastly, I am independently studying for the AP Psych exam and plan on scoring high (I want to be a psych major)

E.C.s: Treasurer of Spanish Club 9-12 grade, Key Club, Volunteer at multiple hospitals, did research with a psychology professor at a local university, intern at the Center for the History of Psychology at a local university, Editor and VP for The Voice: my school’s first literary magazine,

Vee100196: Please don’t post your own chance post in someone else’s thread. Just forum etiquette :)

CatchingMyStars: I’d recommend you retake the SAT in the fall, shooting for 2000+, and apply ED to Wellesley.
-Wellesley ED: low reach
-Tufts: high reach
-BC: low reach
-Northeastern: high match
-Northwestern: high reach
-Smith: high match
(Also, what’s your GPA?)
