Chances of Getting Into WPI??

<p>I was wondering if I have any shot at getting into WPI. Right now its one of the top schools im thinking about. Im only a Junior, heres my info.</p>

<p>Gender: Female
High school GPA(unweighted): 3.9 consistent (overall averages between 93-94%, always been on honor role)
Freshman Year:
Honors- Math(geometry, year ahead of average) , English, & Earth Science
Introduction to Engineering and Design (got RIT college credit)
Regular history
Band (French Horn)</p>

<p>Sophomore Year:
Honors- English, Biology
AP World history
Algebra 2& Trig (year ahead of average)
Principles of Engineering (got RIT college credit)
Band (French Horn)</p>

<p>Junior Year:
Honors- Chemistry
American Literature
Pre-Calculus
APUSH
Civil Engineering & Architecture (Hoping to get RIT college credit)
Science Research (special class my school offers, you pick a topic and research it for 2 years, required to get an internship which i'm working on, researching purifying flowback fluid from fracking wells)</p>

<p>Senior Year (Expected):
AP-Physics, Environmental, Government, AB Calculus
Senior Composition /Contemporary Lit
Science Research</p>

<p>Test Grades-
Plan (pre ACT)- 30
SAT- taking in Dec
AP World- 4</p>

<p>Extra Circulars-
4-H - 3rd grade-12th grade (elected Head of Party Committee 2 times, ran for treasurer 2 times, running again this year)
Students for peace and Survival - club 11th and 12th grade
Ski Club- 10th, 11th, and 12th grade</p>

<p>Part Time Job- teaching children how to ride horses
Summer Job- Hose Camp-Teaching children how to care for horses</p>

<p>Intended Major: Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering</p>

<p>Wpi iS one of your top? As a junior you should have better schools than that. Those pltw classes would help at rit maybe nyu poly</p>

<p>If you got 30 on the real ACT, then you can aim for NYU-Poly (which is now held to the same standards as NYU)…</p>
