Chances of getting into...

Hey guys, i'm a high school junior and have been recently stressing over college. i'v been getting major mood swings just about every other day, thinking ill get in, then thinking i wont.

I live in Florida and really don't like it. i want to move away, its not right for me. California or Massachusetts would be my first two choices in picking an oos university(but i don't know if i could settle anywhere else).

By the end of senor year i should have a high 3.7 - low 3.8 GPA
I haven't taken the SAT yet but should score somewhere around 2100 - 2200
As for clubs and volunteer work i have almost none so far. I joined a film club in the 9th grade but that's all i have, i'm planning to join a few clubs this year and maybe a couple more senior year. Same goes for volunteering, haven't done any yet but am looking to do a little bit with my friends over the summer (aiming for ~200 hours by the time i graduate)
I should also have 9 - 10 AP classes by the time i graduate.

what i want to know is, what are my chances. If i were to apply to every single college that i would want to go to (UC Berkeley, UCLA (Dream schools), US Davis, Cal tech, USC, and Boston University, Tufts University) what would be my chances of getting into just one, and what of the chances of me getting into none of them. Now, i know there is no set percentage of me getting into any of these schools, but please don't beat around the bush.

Sorry if i come of as aggressive or to direct, i'm just very worried right now.

The main problem with being OOS for the California UC’s is that you will get little to no financial aid. Caltech is also known for not great financial aid. If you are full pay for the UC’s, then they might be a consideration. At the end of your Junior year, you need to calculate your UC GPA, see link:
<a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/</a> For the extra honors points, you can only use 4 of your AP classes.

For UCLA/UCB, aim for a UC GPA of 4.2+ and SAT of 2100+ to have a decent chance. For Caltech you would need your Stats even higher and for UCD, a UC GPA of 4.0+ and SAT around 1900+ would make it a match.
I am only commenting on the California colleges since I as not well versed with the rest and your intended major will be a factor also.

Just do your best, enjoy your Junior year and you will get into a good college but it may not be your dream…

One of the problems i have is my sophomore year wasn’t the best due to personal problems. I read up on the way they calculate your UC GPA and it looks as if they only count 10 and 11th grade. i’m doing very well this year and should have straight A’s, but my sophomore year was pretty shaky. Being oos and a bad 10th grade, are my chances with the UC’s gone? And if my chances aren’t completely gone, is it possible to get in everything i mentioned?

An upward trend in your Junior year GPA will help but there is no way to chance you until you have taken the SAT/ACT and have your unweighted and UC weighted GPA.
