Chances of getting placed in a co-op

I'm a spring 2012 admit and I applied for a place in the co-ops back in early May. Are my chances of getting a space in the co-ops fairly good?

For Fall 11? It depends if you are a guy or girl too. The waitlist is way longer for girls. Also you will most likely get a big co-op like CZ or Cloyne if you do get a spot that is.

You can get an idea of where you are in the waiting list here:

[Fall Waiting List Main](http://berkeleystudentcooperative.org/component/content/article/25/149-waiting-list-main)

In the past, certain houses have been less popular, such that spaces may be available immediately even though there are people on the waiting list waiting for spaces in other houses.

What about for an EOP student? I heard they get priority.

im eop got into wolf house from the waitlist, pretty small coop wont be joining it tho. i applied like a month ago tho

BSC co-ops give priority to:

Students with BSC co-op seniority points (semester = 1, summer = 0.75, full boarding (food only) semester = 0.5, 7 or 5 night boarding semester = 0.25).

Educational Opportunity Program students.

Disabled Students Program students.

International students doing Education Abroad Program at Berkeley.

Students who previously lived in a different NASCO co-op.

See [Academic Year FAQs](http://berkeleystudentcooperative.org/faqs/670-academic-year-faqs) .

Note that spring admits taking a full course load at FPF or a community college during the fall are eligible to live in the BSC co-ops during the fall. See [Membership Eligibility - New Member Eligibility](http://berkeleystudentcooperative.org/eligibility-guidelines?start=1) .

Cal011, did you pay a reduced application fee since you are EOP?
