Hi. I am a junior in highschool. Right now I have an average of 3.2, due to my lack of studies during freshman and softmore year. But now I'm really stepping up my game and mindset.Right now, I'm taking one AP class, AP Music Theory, one Honors and all regular. During senior year, I plan to take 4 AP classes, AP Statistics, AP Literature, AP Economics, AP Chinese, Human Anatomy, and Pre-Calculus Honors. I believe I have a really good resume on extracurricular activities and rewards. If I get straight A's this next semester and all of senior year, do you think I can still get at least a 3.5 GPA? I really want to make it into UGA. Thankyou for your time and advice.

With 3.5 and 1800 SAT, you should be fine.

If UGA doesn’t work out, what’s your backup plan?

My backup plan would be Georgia State. But my dream school is UGA! Or Emory.

Your GPA is extremely low. Last year UGA freshman had an average of a 3.83 GPA and a 1915 SAT score. I would say do your best, shoot for an excellent ACT/SAT score. Your course rigor is extremely weak. With your weak GPA and weak course-load, I don’t think you will be accepted.
