Chances of Harker School waitlist: Boy applying for 9th

I just got the Harker Upper School decisions and it says I got wait listed. I am applying for 9th grade. What are my chances of being taken out of waitlist and accepted?

  1. SSAT score of 2283 or 98 percentile for boys. GPA of 4.0. I think at least two of my recommendations are pretty good, not sure about third. Do play badminton and swim but no on a sport team as badminton not available in my city. No financial aid requests
  2. Is it possible to get rejected from Harker Upper School or is waiting pool same as being rejected?
