I would GREATLY appreciate any input anyone has, this problem has been keeping me up at night.

THE SITUATION:
At the beginning of this school year (my senior year) I was unsure about which major I really wanted. I have been interested in film my whole life but recently became passionate about Photography.

When it came time to apply to schools my photography portfolio was MUCH more extensive and strong quality-wise. So I applied to Tisch for photography and i recently got the “Saturday at The Square Invite” and was immediately excited to get into my first choice!

But now I’m really freaking out…what if i want to change to film? Will I have to start the whole application process over within tisch and other film schools? How easy is it to switch majors in an art school like Tisch? I know Photography and Film are within the same department can i change within the foundation year? Is it hard to change?

I checked the site and it said you must be in the department for one year before you change to another one. Would some of my classes be interchangable with another major because that is a lot more money.

Or BETTER YET is there anyway to double major with film and photography, i know this is highly unlikely and even if it was possible would be incredibly difficult but i have a passion for both!
