Chances of Ivy league and other universities for a transfer

I am applying as a transfer student for the spring of 2015, which would be the beginning of my junior year. The universities I am looking at are NYU, BU, American, Fordham and, as a reach school, Brown. I pretty much blew off high school and so my GPA was only a 3.3 and my SAT scores were approximately 2000. I didn't have many extracurricular activities other than art classes, volunteer work, paying work and the occasional short term hobbies such as guitar, ice skating, dance and horse back riding. After high school I took a gap semester doing intensive volunteer work in India and Thailand, which allowed me to refocus myself and turn my life around. I just completed my third semester at Suffolk University, at their Madrid campus, with a 3.9 GPA (haven't received below an A-). I was asked to join the honors program, which I have accepted, and I was hired by the school to write a blog about my experience that they could use for their website. While I greatly enjoyed my time in Madrid and look forward to spending the next semester at the Boston campus, I strongly believe I can handle a much more vigorous course load, which is why I am looking at transferring. If anyone could give me any information on transferring to any of these schools, the likelihood of me being accepted, or any suggestions/pointers, I would greatly appreciate it.

For all of these schools, transferring is highly competitive. Your high school records will be greatly taken into account, and you will need academic evaluations, and your college will have to send various other score reports, etc. Don’t be discouraged from applying, just be aware of the difficulty. The colleges will look favorably upon your refocus and improved grades.
