I graduated with a 3.0 GPA with AP/Honor classes every year. Varsity/JV sports every year. 32 ACT. Worked since sophmore year. I volunteered every summer at the Boys and Girls club and racked up a TON of hours. I did Drama/theatre for 4 years and got thespian. Multiple clubs and teacher recommendations. Right now I'm in my first semester of college at a community college due to financial issues but I plan on transfering in the fall and JMU is my 1st choice. I should finish my first semester with a 3.0 and 13 transferable credits. I am also a minority if that helps haha. What really makes me wonder is that, I've heard from many people that JMU accepts a small portion at a large range, what I mean by that is, they will deny acceptance to my similar position with a 3.6 GPA or something like that, but accept someone with less of what I have but maybe a 3.3 and I've seen it happen. Gives me hope! haha but, if not, ODU will be the move. Any thoughts?

I’m also instate
