Chances of making it into UVA?

Hey, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I wanted to know what my chances of making it into UVA are if I don't take Pre-Calculus during high school. Recently, I've heard that most colleges expect students to have at least taken this class. However, I'm not too sure if I'll be able to do so (I'm a Junior).

Would only getting up to Trig hinder my chances of making it into UVA?

Idk if I plan on majoring in any math-driven careers. Right now I'm thinking about doing something along the lines of engineering alternate sources renewable of energy (i.e. wind turbines, solar panels, etc.)

Thank you all :))

thought trig was pre calc …
i’m in calc right now and have an D : (

Does UVA require taking pre-calculus in high school?
If so, you should definitely take it.
If not, I would think it wouldn’t matter.
But you can also always just email the UVA admissions department and ask.
Hope that helps =)

Thanks. I think I’ll email them to find out. Hopefully it’s not that big of an issue, as I would rather take AP Gov.

Thanks you guys :)
