So I got accepted to SF state, Chico, UCSC and was planning to go to chico state to major in biological sciences and hopefully get into PA school after i get my degree
my question is would my chances of getting into a PA school be lower because I’m getting a degree from a school thats not looked upon as rigorous compared to a UC, or is a degree a degree no matter where you get it from as long as your GPA is high and requirements for PA school is all complete? in the GPA is all that matters?
Hey this is irrelevant but can u tell me ur stats for getting into all those schools if u don’t mind?
Why don’t you apply as an undergraduate to an accredited PA Program. UC Davis has one. I’m not sure who else has the program in CA.
UC Davis does not have an Undergraduate PA program, it is a graduate program. As an undergraduate you need to take PA program requirements prior to the application for the program and a Bachelor’s degree is required.

@Gumbymom I thought you went in as an undergraduate and got a masters in PA studies. There are some schools where the program is for PA from freshman year onward.
@bordertexan: Yes some PA programs start during Freshman year but you specifically referenced the UC Davis program which requires an undergrad bachelor’s prior to applying for admission. Just trying to give correct information.
