Member of "Royalty Club"- basically a select group of ~10 students who are basically cheerleaders at sporting events. Chosen year by year by previous members. Attend every sporting event.

Senior year I plan on:
AP Calc
ap environmental
AP lit
Ap gov/Econ
Physics

I'm afraid the four B's I've amassed will significantly crush my chances, but I have an upward trend to say the least. I also am a first generation Hispanic.

Any thoughts on my chances or tips on what else I could do to increase my chances?

I think you have a very good chance at both schools! You chose very hard courses that you succeeded in! Congrats on your accomplishments! It seems you have a very bright future ahead of you.

Low course rigor will hurt your chances, but that’s partly made up by an upward trend. Being first gen will help.

Cal, LA - low reaches
USC - high match
SD - match
Davis, Irvine, SB - low matches
others - safeties

I did have high course rigor though. A year ahead in both Math and Foreign language, plus honors world. And not to mention I will have. 12 semesters of AP courses

UCB and UCLA: Low Reach
UCSD: High Match
UCSB, UCD, and UCI: Match
Rest: Safety

I also agree with bubbles that your courses rigor is below average in comparison with other applicants at UCB and UCLA, but it is too late to change that now. Good luck!
