Chances of me getting into UIC? 3.04 GPA

<p>I'm currently attending junior college. I'm worried my GPA might be too low to get in.</p>

<p>I'm looking to start Fall 2013 majoring in Marketing or Financing. Also looking to live on campus</p>

<p>I was looking at there 36% of admitted at collegeboard for transfer students and that number scares me that I won't get accepted.</p>

<p>GPA:3.04 on 4.0 scale</p>

<p>Not much extra curricular activity although I do have a job history.</p>

<p>Current: I have 2 jobs at the moment
Campus computer lab assistant
Car dealership Porter</p>

<p>I been following there transfer guide for my jr college. I'm on track to finish pretty much all required courses by end of Spring 2013. My grades have also improved the last 3 semesters to only B's and A's</p>

<p>For transfers, they like to see at least a 3.0. Apply early and for you, the personal statement will be important.</p>

<p>At the school website it says min 2.5 for transfer students.</p>

<p>minimum gpa and competitive gpa are two entirely different things. It is a known thing about the school that they like a 3.0.</p>
