Chances of me getting into Wesleyan University?

Hi! Thanks for reading this and for your opinions!

So here's my information:
-Rising Senior
-98% cumulative unweighted GPA, 4.8 weighted GPA (I think? I don't really understand grade weighting works)
-Freshman Year: All honors courses, no AP courses available; Sophomore Year: APUSH (no others available), all other classes were Honors; Junior Year: AP Bio, AP World History, Pre-AP Chem, Pre-AP English, Honors Pre-Calculus; Senior Year: AP Chemistry, AP Calc, AP English, AP Macroecon, AP Gov't, Honors Physics (no AP available)
--All A's for all of my classes, except for Honors Algebra II, which I got an 84% in (my teacher was also on drugs so..)

-I took Spanish I&II during my freshman and sophomore years, and I've taken three other Spanish classes since then at my local Penn State campus. I will also be taking a Physiology class at Penn State this fall.

-I've been in Concert Band and Marching Band all four years, Wind Ensemble since sophomore year, and I've been concertmaster for the past two years (so I probably will be next year, too). I'm also the clarinet section leader in Marching Band.

-Currently in NHS, founded a language club Junior Year, and have been in FBLA since my sophomore year and will be a project representative for my senior year.

-I have had a job since my Freshman year, and have kept job. I currently work 20-30 hours per week.

-Awards: Department Award for Band (sophomore year and junior year) and Department Award for Academic Achievement in Science (Junior Year)

-Subject tests: 740 on Biology M and 570 on World History. I plan on retaking Biology M and taking the Literature Subject test, and will get better scores.

-SAT: I took them in March and got a 2040 (650 Math, 670 CR, and 720 Writing). I also took them June first and feel as if I got at least a 2100, and I'll also take them again in October if I don't get at least a 2100.

I also plan on applying to Wesleyan Early Decision, so that helps my chances a bit ^_^

So.. what do you think?

Edit: I forgot to include my rank! Cumulatively, I'm fifth out of 220 students, but for my Sophomore and Junior year individually, I've been ranked at third out of 220 for both years. I was eighth during my Freshman year.

Edit.. again: Ugh I keep forgetting stuff. I'm also a first gen college student and come from a low income family (under $40,000/year). My parents are divorced and my mother is estranged. I also have about 150 hours of community service, but I'm going to be working a project this summer and doing a lot of community service so it should go up quite a bit.

Hmm, your SAT is a bit on the lower side, but your GPA is great. Your EC’s seem a little weak, so I would put Wesleyan at around a low reach. Good luck!

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1508126-chances-ivy-league-school.html

Hey its a fellow nerdfighter! As long as you bump your SAT up I think you can make it! Good Luck, oh and DFTBA!

Wesleyan: Reach

You might want to ED at Wesleyan; what are your safeties/matches?

Goldn654: Woo! I love meeting fellow nerdfighters on here  DFTBA!

Catria: Yes I’m definitely doing ED; Wesleyan is my first choice. Also, I’m not sure if this matters, but I plan on going for Biochem and PoliSci.

Other colleges I’m looking at:
Bates- match, but I don’t love their financial aid
Northeastern University- match/low reach
Skidmore College- Safety

Oh wow. Now that I’m looking through my college list, a lot of them are reaches (Vassar, Cornell, Williams, Amherst, Haverford, UPenn).

Do you (or anyone else reading this post) think that if I get a 2100-2150 on the SAT and ED Wesleyan, I’ll have a good chance of getting in?

Thanks for replying!
