Hi everybody! I'm a junior this year and my high school career has been all but crazily inconsistent. I'm probably going to enter college as an undecided major, but the areas I'm most interested in are theatre (especially directing), English, History, archaeology, public health, graphic design, political science, Classical Studies, and philosophy. All of that makes it somewhat hard to choose a college based on a specific program or major, because it will probably change.

My freshman and sophomore GPAs amount to a 2.3. It's quite sad. Fortunately, I have straight As this year and will most likely have the same luck my senior year (I'm really pulling myself up by the pant loops here.) I will be able to raise it up to a 3.49 unweighted.

My honors classes: Biology (9th), English (9th, 11th, 12th), History (9th, 11th), Algebra (8th).

I intend to take AP European History next year. I will have at least 75 hours of miscellaneous volunteer work by graduation, and hopefully over 100 for personal reasons.

I haven't taken the SAT yet, but I scored in the 98th percentile on my PSAT and might quality for the National Merit Scholarship, although my freshman/sophomore grades will probably hinder me there.

Extracurriculars:
-International Thespian Society (10th-12th, historian 11th, and I am going to be an officer next year. Historian at least, but probably VP.)
-Young Democrats (Historian, 10th)
-GSA (9th-12th)
-Muslim Students Association (10th)
-South East Asian Students (10th)
-Book Club (11th-12th)
-Poetry Society (10th)
-Order of the Phoenix/Harry Potter Club (11th-12th)
-School plays. LOTS of school plays.

I switched high schools my junior year, so a lot of my clubs and classes were discontinued :(

Awards/things to brag about/useless certificates:
-National Latin Exam: Maxima Laude (9th)
-National Latin Exam: Summa Cum Laude (10th)
-Medusa Mythology Exam: Corona Laurea (9th)
-Arts Achieve: Arts Leadership (11th)
-I was in a one act that competed at district level this year for Thespian Society and my publicity design was rated an Excellent. I will compete at States this spring.

I might intern my second semester of senior year at a local theater.
My teacher recommendations will all be shining and lovely.

The colleges I'm looking at are mainly Emerson, Wesleyan, Bard, St. John's in Annapolis, Vassar, Kenyon, Oberlin, USF, NYU (unrealistically), Shrimer, The New College of Florida, Bennington, and Colgate.

Also I'm a white Catholic who cannot play sports for her life. Luckily I'm not in dire need of financial aid.

Thank you!
