Chances of NYU offering a different program v. completely being rejected

Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me what my chances are going into Stern for the fall 2013 term!

I applied EDII to the Business and Political Economy program in Stern, and I know it's super super selective (NYU's website says it's a class size of 25-50!), so I know I probably won't get in, but I was wondering what are the chances of NYU of telling me that I didn't get the BPE Program but they'll accept me to the Core Business Program instead? Is it more likely for them to completely reject me from the university or offer me an alternative school/program?

Here are the credentials I included in my application if it helps determine an answer:

-Asian female
-GPA: 4.23 weighted (~3.86 unweighted)
-Student newspaper (2 years Features Editor, 1 year Editor-in-Chief)
-Lacrosse Player (2 years JV)
-Violin (10 years)
-Lacrosse Coach (2 years)
-ACT: 29 (I Googled it and that's comparable to a 1920 SAT)
-In my high school career the APs I've taken/are taking: Euro, US History, Language and Comp, Gov, Literature, Calc AB, One semester of Chem, Macro, Micro, Pysch.

I know my ACT score is low in general for trying to get into Stern, but I thought it was worth a shot. =/

Thanks to whoever takes the time to reply to my question!

Hmm, well I’m not an expert (but neither is anyone on this site!) And i’d say that your chances for BPE are pretty low, but if you checked on your common app that you would like to be considered for another school/major if you aren’t accepted to your first choice, then i think you have a considerable chance for just Stern itself.

Yeah, I did check that box about alternative programs, so let’s hope! Thanks so much.
