Chances of Pomona

I'm a high school senior desperate to go to Pomona. Here's my general profile:
GPA: unweighted: 3.808 average, weighted: 4.2

SAT I: 2220 (760 Math, 720 CR, 720 Writing)

SAT II: Math II 750, US History 750, Japanese with Listening 690

High School: top private high school (male, white, pacific islander, asian)

Varsity Soccer: 4 years, captain senior year (state champions junior year) (MVP senior year)

Varsity Track: 4 years, captain senior year (state junior and senior year), MVP junior and senior year

Mock Trial: 4 years (state qualifier junior and senior year)

Newspaper: editor 2 years, staff writer since freshman year

Recommendations: super good, my essay's about being a lower-income student in an elite private school

Your GPA is a little on the low side compared to those who have historically gotten accepted to Pomona.
You don’t have much volunteer experience (or at least I don’t know much since you haven’t written about them in the post), which may reflect poorly.

Again, as you may know, the college decision process is a wild card. I think you definitely have a shot- but I wouldn’t count too much on it.
