Here are my stats:
I applied for a NROTC scholarship in early June of 2014 (and had everything turned in by Early August) for the academic year Fall 2015.
It is now February and I was hoping to hear something about the scholarship, which has brought me to these forums. Are these stats in the ballpark of what a scholarship recipient would have?
SAT: 1770 (650 Math/580 Eng)
ACT: 26 (27 Math/22 Eng)
GPA: 3.985 (Unweighted) AP and Full Honors classes with 1 year of dual-enrollment
Am the current Battalion Commander of an AJROTC Battalion, previously the Battalion Executive Officer.
I feel like I had an excellent interview, and the officer told me he felt like I was very qualified and he would write a good recommendation.
Sports: Varsity Cross Country(2 years), Varsity Raiders(3 years), Varsity Drill/Color Guard(4 years), and Varsity Rilfery(3 years)
Clubs: NHS(Secretary), SNHS, and BETA
Another question I had was if this was a big year for applications…
