Just received my first SAT score and I wanted to give it a try..
I am a Junior who is interested in civil engineering/architecture as a major and it would be very great if anyone could chance me for RIT.

I’d say a low match or match (maybe your low CR score is a little troublesome but I can’t say whether RIT is really a school that looks at CR much for CivE)

I chance people on a number scale 1(low chance)-10(high chance)
RPI - 8
NYU:POLYTECH - 7
Syracuse - 7
URochester - 7
Ithaca - 7

TBH, these are really rough estimates bc I’m not too familiar with these schools and you resume is a little lacking, esp with your SAT. I wish you the best of luck for your physics SAT II, physics was killer for me haha. GPA is solid, good ECs.

RPI: Low Match
NYU Poly: Match
Syracuse: Match
URochester: Match
Ithaca: Match
You shouldn’t have any difficulty getting into at least 3 of those universities.
And I also struggled with CR:(

Catria please do at least a tiny bit of research before chancing people…

RPI: Impossible Reach
NYU:POLYTECH : High Match
Syracuse : Reach
URochester: Mid-High Match (Don’t send in SAT scores),
Ithaca: Low Match

Why?
RPI is heavily based on math SAT, most people there have above a 700 math. Average on 2 sections would be around 1350.

NYU Poly: Yeah. you should be fine for there.

U of R: They have test optional, your transcript seems pretty amazing so if you don’t send in your scores, you should get in.

Ithaca: yeah…

Syracuse: Scores are on low end.

EDIT: JustinBryce: Please spare collegeconfidential from you’re 200 posts… there is no way by any standards RPI is a low match, especially when U of R is only a match. He has a much much higher chance of getting into a GPA centered school like U of R than a score focused place like RPI, which would be near impossible with a 510 and 680. (1190)
